Until now, it has been impossible to get the gearing right on Lui and J50 scooters that have been tuned or fitted with the Casa 75cc conversion kit (or with engine capacities up to approx. 100cc). The Casa 75cc kit is a best seller with a specific exhaust and carb kit having been designed to complement the kit. The proverbial fly in the ointment has always been the gearbox as original 50cc gearing is all over the shop with 1st and 3rd being far too short and all improvements you might have made elsewhere in your motor thus end up make minimal improvement thanks to the awful original gearing ratios.

This 3-speed cluster is designed for later production J50 models and all Lui 50cc models. The beauty of this cluster is that it is designed to mesh directly with the original Innocenti 58-53-46 loose gearbox cogs already found in these models, thus enabling you to obtain perfect gearing ratios but without having to incur the cost of having to change a whole gearbox!
