Welcome to the New Age from PARMAKIT, already very successful in the Vespa small frame class. This is the newest result from the fruitful cooperation of STEFANO SCAURI and PARMAKIT for large frames.

The PARMAKIT 177 cc, with it's high quality coated aluminum cylinders: 63.0 mm bore, 177 cc, with 60 mm long stroke shaft up to 187 cc's possible. It has relaxed, tame timing, but with the right kind of modifications or set higher through base gaskets, this can turn into a real beast. According to the manufacturer, the optimal squish band clearance lies at 1.6/1.7 mm. The cylinder is made of massive CNC milled material, anodized blue with horizontal ribs. A further feature is the integrated, inner head centering. This allows an optimal fit and a tight seal. The main exhaust with 63% width is supported with 2 auxiliary exhausts. 5 large format transfers with a one piece boost port take care of the cylinder and the VERTEX piston with it's two 1.0 mm steel rings are an optimal addition.

The PARMAKIT cylinder head is available both with centered and lateral spark plug positions. A water cooled variation is also available.

The “EVO” variation is a two part outlet port and two-piece head, held together with 8 bolts.

The "Classic" variation has a single outlet port.

The long-stroke version provides the TSV with 187cc. Combined with bigbore of 66mm diameter a whapping 195 or even 205cc can be achieved! This makes it the largest capacity motor currently available for the small largeframe Vespa models. The original SI 20/20 is good enough, though we can recommend the SI 24/24 carburetor. To get your power through to the street, use a 23/64 primary with 4 gear toothed 36/35 or 24/63er with 4 gear toothed 36. Want more power? Then a race or reed valve shaft, casing modification, larger carburetor and race exhaust is your solution.

Conclusion:good beginner cylinder. The high quality coating makes the cylinder extremely durable and dependable. A solid basis for further tuning and modifications.
