The premier league of largeframe tuning cylinders has not been ignored by the engineers at POLINI. Following the enormous success of their 210cc cylinder they have once again raised the game with this all-new 221cc performance cylinder kit.

This 221cc long stroke cylinder arrangement is, thanks to its excellent thermal qualities, not only suitable for touring set ups but also for high power largeframe tuning projects. The port timings have been reworked, it possesses a nicasil lined bore and a centralised cylinder head positioning system. Compared to the smaller 210cc cylinder the inclusion of a long stroke crankshaft in the motors set up enables higher revs and an increased amount of torque, especially noticeable in the low and mid rev ranges. Alongside its solid performance the 221cc cylinders design includes clever details, such as the positioning pins to centralise the cylinder head upon the cylinder while mounted, a reinforced exhaust outlet stub (incl. steel protection ring) and a special cut-out section above the transfer port which eases its modification and enlargement. As with every tuning project, we recommend you check and/or adjust the jetting, timing and piston clearance etc. for its safe and enduring use.

Conclusion : Ample torque combined with a wide power-band makes the 221cc from POLINI the new king in the premier league of Vespa tuning cylinders!
